No-exam life insurance
Which applicants qualify for rapid underwriting processes, the process works, and what happens if you do not qualify.
Numerous insurers have introduced accelerated underwriting: they evaluate applicants matching specific age and amount requirements utilizing the application details, medication history, traffic records and personal information in place of an exam. Approvals may occur on the same day you apply. Each rate you find on this website indicates whether a test is needed, might be needed, or is not needed for that package.
What it changes
Skipping an exam is not the same as avoiding underwriting. Your answers are cross-checked; if inaccurate, an insurer may dispute a policy during the first twenty-four months. If the carrier discovers something from its sources, a test or sample collection might still be required; you get to make a new choice at that juncture.
Who tends to qualify
Usually those younger than about 60, getting coverage below the carrier's expedited decision limit, without significant medical history and no nicotine use in the past year or longer. For applicants who had recent blood work at a doctor visit, certain companies will allow that to stand instead of a new exam.
When an exam is required, it typically runs twenty to thirty minutes; a paramedical professional meets you at your workplace or residence in the Fresno area without charging you. Test findings frequently improve your rate tier if you are in good health, so testing is not inherently unfavorable.
